Rush
Rush is a two- to three-week period at the beginning of each semester at the University of Houston full of fun events specially planned to allow young ladies to relax with us and to learn more about Sigma Phi Omega. It is an excellent chance for you to get to know us and to see if you would like to become a part of our strong sisterhood. Past rush events featured board game nights at the Sigma House, frozen yogurt at Berripop, sweet beignets at Crescent City, and potlucks with our tri-family. All events are free for all rushees. Rides are also provided. There is no obligation to join our sorority after rush.
Attendance to at least one rush event is required to be considered for a bid. You must also complete one paper application at one rush event as well as a videotaped interview.
